Parsley is of Mediterranean origin. It is probably the best known herb in the world except in Asia. It can be used to season almost all foods, such as meats, fish and so on. It has a pleasant green tone and a slightly spicy taste.
There are two types of parsley, known as straight and curly parsley. The former is tastier whereas the latter is prettier. It is rich in vitamin A. Its content is much higher than in any other vegetable.
