Elaboration
For this recipe the following elaborations are needed:
SETTING-UP
- Prepare a dutch dough and use it to cover the bottom of a round pie mold.
- Peel, core and cut the reineta apples into four parts.
- Cut them into thin slices and add lemon juice to avoid them turning brown.
- Place the apples into the pie dish alternating them with layers of sprinkled brown sugar and small cubes of butter.
- Fill in ¾ parts of the mold.
- Bake at 200ºC for around 20 minutes.
- Once cooked add to the pie a thick layer of almond crumble.
- Let chill before eating.
