Allergens
It is a cephalopod decapod mollusk with a muscly body and triangular fins which make up more than half its body. It is pelagic and gregarious and lives close to shorelines. They live from 2 to 5 years and they can measure up to 60 cm, although such big squids are not usually found in our coasts. In the Cantabrian sea they are caught in summer and in autumn, in the North sea in winter. They are caught by trawling or with squid jigs, the latter being the most appreciated in our coastline. They can be bought fresh, frozen and canned.
