Grape is the name given to the fruit that grows in bunches from the grapevine bush.
It belongs to the Vitis genus from the Vitaceae family, which includes more than 600 species of bushes, mainly climbing plants that produce berries in hot and tropical climates.
Inside the Vitis genus there are around 20 species grown for their fruits and some of them for their leaves which are eaten as any other vegetable.
