Stilton is an English cheese produced in two varieties: the best known (blue) and the least known (white). It’s considered to be as the king of cheese in England and both have been granted the status of a protected designation of origin by the European  Commission.

Only cheese produced in Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire and made according to a strict code may be called "Stilton".
