The coconut tree from which this fruit comes is the most grown and important palm tree in the world. A great deal of products are obtained from this plant since it provides food, water, wood, etc. The main product exported from the farm is the unprocessed copra followed by dried coconut. The biggest market in Asia, Europe and North America is coconut water, but in some European countries fresh coconuts are more in demand, being present at many fairs and festivals and widely used for many dishes and baked products.
